Merino Lifetime Productivity (MLP) Project - New England 2018 Nominations Now Open

Get in quick - FINAL MLP JOINING - New England 2018

The Merino Lifetime Productivity (MLP) project is now taking sire nominations for the FINAL joining at the New England site (Armidale, NSW).

Sires entered at New England will join 166 sires across the five MLP project sire evaluation sites where their 5000 ewe progeny will be retained for annual joining, classing and lifetime assessment. The result will be an important dataset that will allow the comprehensive investigation of Merino productivity over a complete lifetime, across different locations and genotypes. We are looking for a wide range of sires including: - Horned and poll rams. - Different types of rams representing the broadness of the Merino industry. - Rams currently with and without ASBVs. - High industry impact rams (eg. show winners and/or widely used). - Younger and older rams.

Sire spaces are limited. Submit your Sire nomination and take the final New England joining opportunity to be part of this milestone project. Nominations close on the 31 January 2018.
