SA Merino Sire Evaluation Field Day
On June 4, 2019 Merino SA will be hosting a Field Day at Keyneton Station, 1057 Stott Highway, Keyneton SA 5353.
The day will showcase progeny of the 2018 drop from 16 merino sires. These sheep will be on display to the public, along with results of their measured and visual assessments. The 16 sires have been entered by local and interstate studs. Guest speakers will include Ben Swain (AMSEA Executive Officer) and Joe Keynes (SA Merino Site Host).
This is the second year of re-established sire evaluation trials in South Australia and once again, there is great local support with a number of trial sponsors taking part in the Field Day.
